This is a great blog. I purchased a used ODAY 22 from the Miami mission several weeks ago. I have learned alot especially how to spend money that I do not have…
Keep up the good work

hey, great site. i just bought an oday 22 out on long island. the boat was built over 30 years ago, but is in pretty good shape. i’m looking forward to sailing her on the great south bay this summer.
thanks for all the info on this site. i’ll probably update my surf site - www.coastalsurvey.com — with my sailing adventures too.
btw, i like the use of wordpress as a blog tool.
best,

What a great looking little boat. Reminds me of one I had 20 years ago. Since then, I have paid a mortgage and a jeep loan. If I had the cash, I would grab it. Young as I look and (am),I DO have grandkids, and my grandson lives 2 miles inland from this craft.I would love to be back on the water again and teaching him the joys of crusing up Indian Arm!
Great Site!

This is a bit off topic, but does anybody know the specific differences between the O’Day 22 and the O’Day 222? I’ve heard that the 222 is lighter, and handles better, better for racing and has several other improvements, but I’ve yet to come across anything in writing that documents this. Any info would be greatly appreciated, feel free to email me with it: susan@business-sanity.com

My wife and I are about to buy our first sailboat, we’re currently looking at an O’Day 27. This is a great site and has given me alot of think about/look for. Thanks for all the information.
