Just purchased an Oday 23 with trailer for $200. Looks sound and complete but would like to buy more sails (used), what other boats use the same size?
Looking forward to sailing Puget Sound next spring.

have been taking a ASA keelboat class–very brief–always wanted to learn, waited ’till I was 51 so, well ya know may get a boat. Live on the water in TN–Tn river– but it’s shallow at the dock so would still be keeping it an marina

I enjoy the website. Fellow O’Day 22 sailors and lovers. Am in need of assistance. My rudder and tiller were stolen right off the back of the boat. Big time Bumming. Nevertheless, the $800.00 or so at D&R is a little steep for, great place for parts though, so I’ll be fabricating a new one. Can anyone please provide the dimensions? Thanks for your consideration

I have been enjoying your web site…
I have been hauling an ODay DaysailerII since 1997 and finally reached the point that I want something in the water at a slip. going back the second time to look over a 1980 Oday 22 in good shape. Its a little tired but all in all very sound. I look forward to the clean up and making in sound. I am sure I wil refer to your sight regularily if all goes well.

I have an Oday 222 that I keep in dry storage at Channel Islands.
I’m planning a 3 day, 2 night trip up to Santa Barbara at the end of May 2000 with my wife and 4 year old.
I would appreciate any experiences you can share and words of encouragement.

Hello, I have an oday 22 of my own, in fact i managed to get it for only 1500 dollars, and a rarity in bermuda, a real steal, and I was wondering if you could help me out. I am looking for some used sails for my oday because i cant find any here and the jib it came with functions, but looks absolutley dreadful, and the main is reduced to the height of the top of the jib. (which also looks dreadful) so i am in need of your expertise. Do you know anyone who is willing to sell sails to fit a 22 oday?

ZOMG IT WOIKED !!!!!

Took my Holder 12 out today, it was towed with my friend’s tricycle with an assist from an additional beach cruiser. Left Long Beach/Los Alamitos Bay and sailed down to Seal Beach. Beautiful day, light winds, the open water was super mellow… Shoot me a line if you want, I’ll send you pics of the rig as it was being towed… doubt you’ve seen anything like it!
