That means we probably have as much as 5 gallons of water in there for it to weigh 200. Of course we are just estimating the weight at 200 lbs. It doesn't take a lot of water to make that boat heavy. Just think a puddle of water half an inch deep that's twelve feet by two feet is one cubic foot of water, and that weighs over 60 lbs. We need to stand her upright and pull out the drain plug next time around to see how much water there actually is. But by seeing a laser side by side next to the capri it is a bit beamier and taller. i’m pretty sure that there are a lot of water in it. we can actually hear it sloshing around. Though 200 lbs sounds very heavy for a 13 foot boat like that. Similar boats like the Laser and Sunfish weigh around 120-130 lbs. Are you sure that the hull is not full of water? Sounds like fun.
