I just bought a 27 oday, it says its a 1979 but i think they stopped making them in 1978.  Anyways its looks to be a reasonable shape.  We are taking it out of the water next week.  I hope the bottom is in good shape.  Then cosmetic, etc.  I am new to boats and wanted to make it safe first and pretty later.  Any advice on what to look at first and where to start?
